In this module, I’ll teach you how to take pictures of models for your reference photos. Getting a good reference photo is as much about directing the person who you’re capturing. And in this module I’ll walk you through a live photo shoot and show you my step-by-step process for capturing that perfect paint-ready shot.
This one technique alone will take your portraits from frustrating to FUN and will help bring out the personality in your paintings. This is one of my favorite parts of painting! Working with friends and family to capture that perfect moment that you will paint!

Editing Your Photos

In this module, I’ll introduce you to my favorite software and how I use it to touch-up the photos. Editing your photos is the part of the process where you make decisions on what you want to paint and what you don’t. I love this process because there are so many possibilities.
